ACTIVATM BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVETM received the Top Bioactive Product Award from THE DENTAL ADVISOR for the second year running in 2017. Dentist evaluators were impressed with ACTIVA BioACTIVE’s delivery system and esthetics, especially for anterior restorations, and found it to be an “excellent material to use for restorations and cores.”
Unlike traditional restorative materials, ACTIVA BioACTIVE stimulates apatite formation at the tooth-material interface which reduces sensitivity, guards against secondary caries, and seals margins against microleakage and failure. The material is moisture-friendly and contains a shock-absorbing rubberized resin component, and bioactive glass fillers that mimic the physical and chemical properties of natural teeth. Over 2 million restorations have been placed with ACTIVA BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVE since the product was launched in 2013.
