Dr. Sam Weisz heard about ACTIVA™ at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Annual Session in May 2016 and took home some of the restorative product to try out. He described the decision as a “no brainer,” noting the growing body of scientific research on how bioactive materials stimulate apatite formation and promote remineralization. He started using ACTIVA to restore both primary and permanent teeth and found that the moisture-tolerant product worked particularly well in Class V restorations, where saliva contamination was a concern. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, Dr. Samuel Weisz gained a spot at the prestigious VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California where he completed his General Practice Residency.
